Society
This years Bradford show was held at the Bradford
Academy in Bradford and as always a good show to finish the showing year.The show
had 438 fish on the show bench and had the most lots in the auction they have
ever had.
The day started with the presentation of a gold badge for winning
500 first places cards at open shows to Gavin Cowen as Gavin could not be at the
show the prize was presented to his son Aiden

Steve
Jones was the auctioneer with help from Bradford members and people from other
societies helping by doing the running but as you can see not all the things sold
were to do with fishkeeping.

During
the afternoon Bradford Aquarists Society made a presentation to their treasurer
who was retiring after 40 years. Allan had always wanted a varigatus platy, but
had never aquired one, well he has now! The carving was done by Brian Walsh.
