Fishkeepers Society Open Show 2008
Well, done to Terry & Shirley
Nelson and friends for putting on a great open show on Sunday 9th March.
They
had 231 entries and plenty of visitors to the show held at the hobbies centre
Ashby Scunthorpe.
Best in show was a Betta Splendens shown by Steve & Trish
Jones Scarborough (a fish they had bred).
Best Exhibit was a breeders team
of Corydoras shown by Mark Walters Catfish Study Group.
Well done to all concerned
with helping on the day on what was the 30th Ashby open show.

Frisby for doing a wonderful job on the raffle and helping out in the kitchen.
Thanks to Sue Marshall and Sharon Wilkinson for their help in the kitchen. The
judges Trevor Douglas Edward Cheetham, David Marshall, (his first show as an "A"
class judge), and Arthur Frisby. they did an excellent job judging the 230 fishes
on the bench.
To Trish Jones for doing the judges runner, and to all who helped
in the auction as runners

Just to say well done to Ryedale society
for another excellent show, even though it was very quiet (Sue was missing).
Best
in show was won by ROY BLACKBURN Castleford with a catfish, Akysis prashadi.
He
also won Best exhibit with a pair of catfish.
Well done to all concerned.
